The Series WBV® line of residential oil-fired boiler is engineered for dependable performance in both hot‑water and steam heating systems. Designed for natural‑draft chimney venting, these oil-fired boilers offer a versatile solution for homeowners upgrading older equipment or installing a new hydronic system. Each unit is available as a fully packaged assembly or in knockdown form, providing flexibility for tight mechanical rooms or staged installations.
The WBV® series is offered in three block sizes—ranging from three to five cast‑iron sections—with a total of eight firing rates to match a wide range of heating loads. Every oil-fired boiler features a full‑plate swing‑out door that simplifies burner access and annual service. For added installation flexibility, the 3‑ and 4‑section boilers include a convertible rear‑to‑top flue outlet, allowing the vent connection to be configured to the needs of the jobsite.
Hot‑water models come equipped with Taco circulators and Hydrostat reset controls with integrated low‑water cut‑off protection, ensuring efficient operation and system safety. Steam models include Honeywell operating controls and a probe‑type low‑water cut‑off for reliable, responsive steam production. All boilers are wrapped in a deluxe, insulated enameled steel jacket that minimizes standby heat loss and maintains a clean, finished appearance in the mechanical space.
The cast‑iron heat exchanger sections are joined with precision‑machined steel push nipples and factory‑tested to ensure a long‑lasting, watertight seal.
